Name:  Daggan Stamenkovic

Company: Novoton (also work at digital distributor Phonofile)

Title: A&R/Owner (Country Manger Sweden at Phonofile)

Can you tell us a bit about your company? Novoton is a Swedish label started 2004 and has worked itself up to be one of the leading Swedish indie labels. Some of the bands we have worked with are: Pascal, Skriet, Riddarna, Then Comes Silence, Norma, Katharina Nuttall, Stilla Havet, Paper. For us they are the only reason for doing this record label thing. Working with great people who are making great music!

Best live show you have seen, hands down? It’s difficult, but here are some that have stuck in my memory. Leonard Cohen (Konserthuset Stockholm – 1988), Laurie Anderson (Konserthuset, Stockholm – late 80s/early 90s), Laibach (Rockmagasinet, Örebro – 1987), Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds (Kolingsborg, Stockholm – 1985 and Palladium, Stockholm – 1994), Motörhead (Fryshuset, Stockholm – March 30 1987), Blurt (Electric Garden, Stockholm – 1982)
