New application deadline for Iceland Airwaves Festival
As the music showcase and industry festival, Iceland Airwaves, is being held November 4-7, the organizers remain optimistic that the festival will be taking place this year.
Giving there’s been so much uncertainty in the first months of the year, the deadline for applications for artists to showcase at the festival has been extended.
The new application deadline is July 31, 2020 at 23:59 GMT.

On this Thursday Iceland Airwaves will be hosting a Webinar in conjunction with ÚTÓN called ‘Getting Booked at Iceland Airwaves’ – it’s open for anyone to attend.

Iceland Airwaves also intend to host the second edition of their conference Airwaves Pro, taking place during the day at Iceland Airwaves. More information on that in the coming weeks.
