We’re back with our MXD-Spotlight series! This time we’re showing the faces of the music industry at Reeperbahn Festival. Here’s some of the people who attended MXD’s Networking event prior to the Danish Night at Reeperbahn.

Which artists are you working with currently? Well, to name some: The Acid and Sylvan Esso.

Have you worked with any Danish artists? Yeah, Efterklang, Reptile Youth, Rangleklods and many others.

Name: Christoph Kobza, does marketing and festival radio at Radio FM4

Did you see any concerts that you liked this year? I saw Francesco Yates, which was playing his first concert in Europe, so I just had to see that.

What are you doing at Reeperbahn? I’m here to check out the bands in more intimate surroundings to get a better idea of how they are, and of course, also to meet other industry people.

Have you worked with any Danish artists? Efterklang, Reptile Youth – their manager is a really nice guy – and Rangleklods.

Have you collaborated with any Danish artists? Yeah, a lot. We’ve worked with Danish labels like Crunchy Frog, Target and Tambourhinoceros to name few.

What’s been the best thing about Reeperbahn this year? The weather!

Which artists have you been working with lately? Public Service Broadcasting, Suvi, Rodrigo Amarante.

Any Danish artists? Eivør – even though I know she’s Faroese – and The Rumour Said Fire.

Hi, what are you doing at Reeperbahn this year? I’m checking out potential bookings. The venues here are great as a reference to what the different bands can handle. I saw Cold Specks yesterday, who’s coming to play VEGA this January.
