Based in: London

Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster? Founded by a British guy called Chris Blackwell in Jamaica in 1959, before he relocated to London in 1962. It’s now part of Universal but still retains the feel of an indie label. Had artists such as Bob Marley, U2, Nick Drake, Cat Stevens and PJ Harvey, and more recently Mumford & Sons, Hozier, Ben Howard, Disclosure and Sigrid.

– and a bit about the acts you personally work with at this moment? Currently working with artists such as Easy Life, Jack Garratt, Alex Adair, as well as a few new development artists and a couple of one off dance singles

What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music? I’ve loved music since I can remember, as soon as I found out A&R was an actual job (at university) I knew that’s what I wanted to do

What are your favourite Danish acts? MØ, Agnes Obel

Best show you’ve ever seen hands down? Too difficult to pick one, but most recent show that blew me away was Bon Iver @ Hammersmith Apollo.
