Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster? The Paradigm team is a group of creative entrepreneurs who help guide the careers of a dynamic roster of talent. We lead with the belief that when the artist’s interests are placed front and center, lasting success will follow. With offices across the US and UK, Paradigm provides global representation to clients in television, live music, motion pictures, theater, digital, book publishing, content finance, brand partnerships and beyond. Since 1993, the agency has acquired a variety of complementary companies, always with the goal of providing a broad and evolving range of services to our artists.

– and a bit about the acts you personally work with at this moment? My personal tastes are reflective in my roster – I represent artists across a number of genres with the common thread that I love and believe in all of them.

What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music? When I moved from the suburbs to New Orleans at age 18, I began working at a local record store and really dove into discovering new music. That then led me to an interest in live shows, so when I wasn’t at work or school, I was at a show, eventually putting on my own and rooting myself in the DIY scene in New Orleans through house shows, small clubs and art spaces. It wasn’t so much ‘work’, as it was a passion and a need, even, to be involved in something I found to be so exciting. In 2005, I began working as a merchandiser and tour manager, relocating to New York City where I have been involved in music – in some capacity – ever since.

What are your favourite Danish acts? I love the band Yung!
