Name: Jordan Whitmore

Company: Atlantic Records / Domino Publishing Co.

Title: A&R

Based in: London

Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster? It’s hard to give a short history of these two companies! It’s been quite well documented. Atlantic Records in the UK has on its roster amongst others: Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Jess Glynne, Clean Bandit and HONNE. Domino Publishing co. represents such writers as Jon Hopkins, Blood Orange, Kate Tempest, Parquet Courts, Fontaines DC

– and a bit about the acts you personally work with at this moment? To pick three of them:

Fontaines DC (Domino Publishing) are a five piece punk outfit from Dublin, blending searing guitars with fast paced Irish accented poetry and some traditional Irish flavours. their Debut album was released in April on Partisan Records.

HONNE are an electronic soul duo from East London who released their second album last year on Atlantic.

Preditah is a Grime/Garage legend from Birmingham who we recently signed to Atlantic. He is currently working on the follow up to his last single with Jorja Smith ‘On My Mind’.

What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music? When I was 15, I spoke to my career advisor at school and realized that it was a possibility.

What are your favourite Danish acts? My new favorite Danish artist is Winnie Raeder. She’s only just started releasing music, she has the most amazing voice. I’m looking forward to seeing Liss at Spot festival!

Best show you’ve ever seen hands down? Stevie Wonder at Glastonbury’s 40th Anniversary in 2010
