As a writer/producer by trade I currently produce Engelbert Humperdinck’s album and am personally involved in the production of Janet Devlin, Salt Ashes, Maddox Jones, Gummibär representing a wide spectrum of musical styles. I have been a music producer for almost fifty years now first in Germany and since 1981 in the USA.
What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music?
As a teenager I had developed a keen interest in pop music and knew music was my passion. in my early years as an adult I was a DJ for 5 years, a buyer for a music on stop, a short lived Live performer/artist and songwriter which lead me to me to realize that my preferred role was as a producer and label owner to find, produce, develop and market artists and their music.
Which acts are you looking forward to seeing this year at SPOT?
As many new artists from Scandinavia I can squeeze into my two days/nights in Aarhus
Best show you’ve ever seen hands down?
The Bee Gees, Roxy Music, Ray Charles, Ike & Tina Turner and most recently Goran Bregovic
