Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster?

Psychotic Reaction Music is an independent music publisher based in London. We provide resources, services and expertise to help artists, writers and producers develop sustainable careers in music. Our publishing rights are administered by leading UK independent publisher Warp Publishing, who also help our writers with worldwide creative services.

The company has gone on to work with artists, writers and producers; Nao, Clarence Clarity, Fabiana Palladino, Christian Alexander, es.cher, Gabriel Gifford, Harve, Softmax and Tex. I have personally been with the company as A&R Manager since January 2023.

And can you tell us a bit about the acts you personally work with at this moment?

The current roster consists of Fabiana Palladino, Christian Alexander, es.cher, Gabriel Gifford, Harve, Softmax and Tex.

Fabiana Palladino is an artist, songwriter, producer, signed to Paul Institute/XL Recordings based in London.
Christian Alexander is an artist/songwriter signed to AMF Records, based in the UK.
es.cher is an artist, producer and guitarist, based in London.
Gabriel Gifford is an artist/producer from the UK, based in Berlin.
Harve is a UK-based, trans, non-binary artist/producer.
Softmax is a Chicago-based artist, songwriter and producer.
Tex Weerasinghe is an artist, songwriter and guitarist, based in Copenhagen.

What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music?

In 2016/17 I met manager Simon Drake (Medium Rare Music) and started working with him as his assistant helping with his management roster of ESKA, Sam Brookes, Huey Morgan and Fun Lovin’ Criminals. I learnt a lot during this period of time working very closely with Simon.
