[MXD Networking @ SPOT 2026] Meet Hampus Kivimäe

In the weeks leading up to SPOT Festival 2026, we’ll be introducing you to the international industry professionals who have been invited to this year’s festival by Danish artists and music companies through MXD’s new invitation pool.

Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster?

WIFE was founded in 2010 and represents artists, songwriters and producers.

Our roster is quite eclectic ranging from the artists Farveblind (postpunk/techno) to Dinamarca (latin/electronic), RIVER (alt-pop), ViVii (dream-pop) to producers August Vinberg (Veronica Maggio, Karol G, Chance The Rapper etc), flyckt (Tove Lo, Gallants, Hayden James etc) and diandian (Jos Rivers, Rhys Frank, Olivia Lobato etc).
We are driven by the uniqueness in each client.

And can you tell us a bit about the acts you personally work with at this moment?

Very excited about the debut albums from Farveblind and RIVER that both are coming this year after a long time of inception.
The new Dinamarca album is really fun one and he will have a great 18+ months.
I also think everyone should have any eye on itcallsme i, they are so freaking good.

What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music?

I’m a classic case.
Tried to be musician/artists but was not good enough so went over to the dark side!
I have been playing since the age of 7 but my first “love” in music was Twisted Sister’s album “Stay Hungry” that I got when I was 6:)

Which acts are you looking forward to seeing this year at SPOT?

Carlina de Place, Selina Gin, Girl Group, Nektar, Spawner

Best show you’ve ever seen hands down? 

Impossible question to answer but when I was a 14 year old punk rocker I loved seeing Refused and Teddybears who always brought on an amazing show. The latest show I saw that was amazing was Ethel Cain. I’m very excited to see Clipse at Way Out West this year!
