The 20 young professionals putting the Nordic music scene on the map
Everyone knows Alan Walker, Zara Larsson, Of Monsters and Men, Lukas Graham, MØ, Tove Lo, Stargate and Max Martin. The talent out of the Nordics seems to be never ending. Artists, writers and producers from the Nordic countries are dominating the charts worldwide and constantly new talent emerge from the Nordics and hit the world stage. A vital part of the rise of these artists are the teams behind them, and especially the young forces who bring new perspective, ideas and business models to an ever-changing industry.
For the first time ever, we’re presenting the up and coming talents of the Nordic music industry. 20 industry players that will play a big role in shaping and changing the industry in the years to come.
The list will be revealed in February 2018 and presented in full at by:Larm music conference and festival.
You can now nominate the ones you mean are moving the Nordic industry forward. Who do you look up to? Who do you want to work with, or who do you wish worked for you?
To be eligible, candidates must work in a Nordic based music or entertainment company, or cultural organization with close ties to the music industry. Candidates who turned 30 in 2017 are eligible.
NOMINATE HERE (DEADLINE 30. NOVEMBER):
National committees from each of the five countries will go through all nominees. They will make a national longlist which a new panel comprised of ten key music industry players in the Nordic and international music scene will consider before selecting the final 20.
While determining the Top 20, the panel will weigh a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: Company growth, Career trajectory, Reputation among peers, Overall impact in the industry in 2017, Artistic development, Innovation in their field, Touring revenue, Ticket sales, Social media presence, Radio and TV coverage and Creative campaigns.
20 under 30 is initiated by NOMEX, the Nordic music export offices; Export Music Sweden, Iceland Music Export, Music Finland, Music Norway and MXD – Music Export Denmark
