“An artist with a deeply original stance, her bold digital pop has a theatrical bent, akin to Kate Bush re-born in Nordic climes.” – CLASH

The Danish/Japanese artist IDA KUDO released her latest EP ‘Gold’ on Friday, November 23rd. Throughout the EP she manages to mix and match her mystical, Asian influences and her more cool, Scandinavian style into something entirely new – and she does it perfectly. The project is – as Clash said – “dazzlingly original.” KUDO draws the listener into her own universe on this EP – her clear and beautiful vocals, her almost playful lyrics and her sharp production creates this deep, sensual, multi-layered universe, which is entirely her own, and is sure to catch the attention of anyone listening.

IDA KUDO has been compared to artists such as M.I.A., Janelle Monae, Bjork and Santigold, and for good reason. Her sound and aesthetic has always been expertly put-together, and on her new EP ‘Gold’ she combines it all with a more mature vision – the project contains everything from huge, dramatic pop-tracks, to more emotional love-ballads and hard-hitting bangers. She’s one of those rare artists, where the sky truly is the limit.

IDA KUDO has received a lot of attention in 2018 – she has played at SPOT-Festival in Aarhus amongst other festivals in Denmark, Welcome to the Village in Holland, XPO North in Scotland and at a couple of venues in London. She has received positive press from media in Denmark and regular airplay on Danish radio, but the praise doesn’t stop there – The British BBC Music Introducing, Amazing Radio and Radio Shoreditch have all played her music throughout the year. And so has many German radio stations such as Radio Eins, DLF Nova and two singles broke the Campus Chart last year. She has had articles written about her in Gaffa, Clash Magazine, Kaltblut Magazine, EarMilk, Noisey, Girls Are Awesome + Ja Ja Music among others.

It’s impossible to be unconcerned with the Swedish up-and-coming artist, songwriter and producer Vera Hotsauce. Just 18, she still manages to have an indestructible self-esteem which will only benefit her approaching journey. Vera herself is the first one to agree with this. ”Watch Me! I’m going to take over. I’m going to be the best and the greatest”.

Her personality shines through with every word, however provocative or honest it may be. That this star who is just waiting to explode also writes and produces music for herself as well as others will help her emerging flames reach the very top. Her debut single ’Bottoms Up’ was premiered by The Line of Best Fit and one of Sweden’s most respected music-journalists Jan Gradvall described her as – ’STAR – Vera Carlbom, 18. The debut dingle ’Bottoms Up’ … presents an artist who is overflowing with talent and attitude.’

Now it is clear for Vera that the artist path is right for her, letting her rise as well as being seen and heard in the spotlight just as much as she wants to. After spending time in LA writing with people such as Elliphant and Diplo’s producer collective, she most recently released her debut mixtape ’let me show u what love is’ which is a brutally honest, raw and heartbreaking story about her upbringing – especially her single ’daddy’.

Influenced by modern pop and the wave of trap music her songs are filled with attitude, character and a bad-ass vibe. Writing with AOBeats, her up-coming songs were recently played by him on Diplo’s show on BBC Radio 1. On February 1st Vera is releasing her new mixtape ”happy/bad” – a mixtape filled with what Vera does best. Personal lyrics to a strong beat, and melodies that stick with you.

Color Dolor have been perfecting their unique alternative pop sound in Helsinki, Finland since 2011. In 2018, Color Dolor return as a duo. With the band’s third album ‘Love’ singer Stina Koistinen and guitarist-producer Leissi reimagins Color Dolor as a more intimate and personal experience. Color Dolor’s new tracks have been compared to the sounds of Radiohead and Massive Attack by the media.

‘Love’, that is nominated for the Teosto Prize 2019, looks at the universal theme from different angles: romantic love, platonic love, love in society, not forgetting lovelessness and loneliness.

“With their compositions and arrangements, Koistinen and Rehn have created an exceptionally powerful and unique world for Color Dolor. The album is an interesting package that consists of both astonishingly brilliant, in places even shameless, pop songs and minimalistic works that resemble a soundscape rather than traditional singing”
– Teosto Prize jury
