Carolina Echeverri – Curriculum Vitae

Carolina graduated from the Amsterdam School of Business with a degree of International Business and Economics, and has over 20 years experience in the music industry.

For over eight years she was part of ANTI/Epitaph Records in Amsterdam, working with artists like Tom Waits, Converge and Mavis Staples, eventually leading the European Marketing & PR team. In 2011, she moved to Copenhagen to work in International Development at Volcano Management (Kashmir, WhoMadeWho, Broken Twin, etc), later co-founding Skyway Management, doing a sprint of talent buying for Bremen Theater. Carolina also taught Entrepreneurship and Cultural Business Studies to the artist line of the Copenhagen Rhythmic Music Conservatory (RMC) for four years, from 2018-2022.

From 2022 until 2025, she also served in the board of Another Life, working towards increased representation and improved conditions in the Danish music and cultural life.

Since 2016, Carolina is part of Music Export Denmark (MXD), where she oversees strategic projects and global initiatives in the music industry, also in collaboration with NOMEX, the Ministry of Culture and The Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces.

MXD’s mission is to promote Danish popular and rock music internationally by enhancing global visibility, expanding professional networks, and forging collaboration between Danish professional artists, music companies, and
international partners.
