Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster?

Jansen Records is an independent record label and publisher out of Oslo, Norway focused on exciting new music.

Jansen includes sub-labels Black Pop Records (punk, garagerock), Die With Your Boots On Records (folk, americana), 9AM Records (young new emerging talent) and Pekula Records (jazz, electronica, open music).

Some of the artists that we work with: Orions Belte, Fieh, Razika, Daniel Kvammen, Darling West, Kanaan, Death By Unga Bunga, Torgeir Waldemar, Hajk, Mall Girl, Aiming For Enrike, Malin Pettersen, Kråkesølv, Hanne Kolstø, Band of Gold, Louien, Electric Eye, Virkelig, Jonas Alaska, Signe Marie Rustad and more.

Genres span over everything from rock, indie rock, surf, garage rock, punk, singer songwriter, math rock, pop, americana, folk, bossa, psych, lounge music, jazz, electronic.

And can you tell us a bit about the acts you personally work with at this moment?

What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music?

Started working part-time in a record store at 17y and it has just snowballed from there.
