In the weeks leading up to SPOT Festival 2026, we’ll be introducing you to the international industry professionals who have been invited to this year’s festival by Danish artists and music companies through MXD’s new invitation pool.
Here, you can meet:

Name: Darya Kulinka
Company: Better Things
Title: Head of PR & Sync / Partner
Based in: Berlin, DE
Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster?
Better Things is a female-run music company based in the heart of Berlin. We’re redefining music promotion by combining traditional media PR, modern influencer relations and fan events – all while building a strong B2B network for lasting impact. Having run successful PR campaigns for international artists such as Caroline Polachek, Rosalía, girl in red, Tom Odell, Alice Phoebe Lou and many more, we understand how to create a buzz and prepare the ground for a successful music career.
And can you tell us a bit about the acts you personally work with at this moment?
I lead PR campaigns across the GSA region for a variety of clients – covering online, print, radio, TV, influencer / creator relations and fan events. Currently working on campaigns for artists like Angèle, American Football, Temples, Oklou, Wasia Project, MEEK, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, to name a few. Also representing a few Danish acts like Nicklas Sahl, CEVIL, Siri Neel and Bendetta. I’m also building our sync roster at the moment.
What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music?
Ever since I can remember – probably starting with my first concert at the age of 7.
Which acts are you looking forward to seeing this year at SPOT?
Super excited to see CEVIL and Soap Horse!
Best show you’ve ever seen hands down?
So many…Radiohead last year in Berlin is definitely in my top 3 though!
