[When Copenhell Freezes Over Networking] Meet Rodeostar
On January 30th, Copenhell freezes over as 6 up and coming Metal bands take the stage at VEGA. Besides witnessing the bands, you’ll get the chance to meet the key Metal industry people, who’ll be attending the networking event prior to the concerts. Over the next weeks, MXD will introduce you to some of the people, whom you’ll get to meet.
Name & company: Thorsten Harm, Rodeostar
Tell us about your work: I am the founder, owner and managing director of Rodeostar – an independent label and booking/ management agency based in Hamburg, Germany. Rodeostar works with both domestic and international artists in G/S/A and abroad since 1997. After working as an artist manager for acts like 4LYN, SICK OF IT ALL and TRIBE AFTER TRIBE, I launched Rodeostar Records and signed bands like gold awarded Scandinavien acts WE and THE CUMSHOTS. In the post-millennial years Rodeostar started to book concerts and established a full 360-structure offering independent artist management, booking, label and music publishing. Today Rodeostar offers a worldwide distribution via SPV and is booking concerts within the core territories of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
What bands do you work with? Mostly Rock and Metal. Our current artist roster is: CHEMIA (PL), DEVILSKIN
