Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster?

Concord music publishing represents more than 600,000 copyrighted works by the world’s most celebrated songwriters, composers and lyricists. Spanning nearly two centuries of song, through a vast array of genres and territories, Concord Music Publishing also supports a diverse group of contemporary creators producing important and popular new songs and musical works.

And can you tell us a bit about the acts you personally work with at this moment? 

We are an exceptionally collaborative global team so I have the pleasure of working across the entire roster. My main focus at this time is on Grammy-nominated songwriter KABBA; super-producer/writer/mixer James Greenwood PKA Ghost Culture; Mercury-nominated trio GoGo Penguin; multi-instrumentalist/writer/producer/string arranger Tobie Tripp; alternative/indie dance/electronic band NOISY; Peruvian-born Berlin-based artist/producer/DJ Sofia Kourtesis; writer/producer/artist duo Aquilo; and songwriter/guitarist Josh McClorey.

What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music?

As far back as I can remember I knew I had to fill every day with music. The moment I decided I wanted to work with music was the moment I learned there was a whole music-business industry full of opportunities.

Which acts are you looking forward to seeing this year at SPOT? 

I’m looking forward to seeing to many: Iris Gold, Sivas, JEURU, eee gee, PRISMA, Yo Johnny, JJ Paulo, Ericka Jane, Total Hip Replacement, FABRÄK and more!

Best show you’ve ever seen hands down? 

This is such a hard question, I couldn’t possibly pick one! Probably one of the following: Erykah Badu at Field Day Brockwell Park, Christine & The Queens at APE Victoria Park, Childish Gambino at the o2 arena, Fourtet at Dekmantel…
