Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster?

We’ve founded the record label with the release of our first worldwide success in 2020.
ALG0 by the German band Triorität, an album that we as Ouvo and the band had worked on for about two years. The success of this record gave us reason to carry on which lead into an amazing international roster of artists from Denmark, France and Germany that we’re developing albums with at the moment, in order to make for a flourishing mutual future.

And can you tell us a bit about the acts you personally work with at this moment?

We’re mainly working on pushing live Bands with a futuristic yet rooted approach. Most of the acts have a background in Jazz and Soul culture but all incoorporate more futuresque sounds and approaches such as hip hop, footwork and electronic music. The aim is to find a sweet spot that bind generations of culture under one roof and equally have the cool kids dancing as well as our parents or older friends.

What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music?

When I was 14 and got paid for playing the first time, whereas I would have done it anyway cause I love it, it was sort of a first epiphany, like “huh, that feels great”. And later on after studying languages for a while, I noticed that the best and most meaningful thing I can do all in all is bring music on stages or on releases, I decided to pursue it in some ways full time.
