RSVP is open now to join us at Radar for networking and shows by Marching Church, Ellis May and School of X.

We are excited to finally invite all Spot+ delegates to RSVP for MXD’s Superball, our networking platform and stage during Spot festival 2017:

  • Saturday May 6th at Radar, from 12-15:00pm.
  • More than 150 international delegates will be joining
  • Food trucks on site – free food and drinks for the early birds
  • RSVP now to Superball@mxd.dk and bring your SPOT+ delegate pass on the day.

Besides networking, we will be presenting our first ever showcase stage curated by an international delegate. This year, we are lucky to have Laura Snapes – British culture critic for media like The Guardian, Observer, Financial Times, Pitchfork, NPR, MTV and Uncut – picking her three favorite acts from the Danish program.

Read further on her line up choice and a small introduction on each act you’ll be seeing live:

Marching Church

Marching Church is the side project of Iceage’s Elias Bender Rønnenfelt, and a romantic, debauched retreat from his main gig’s malevolent glare. He’s a glam Nick Cave, a reformed Pete Doherty, a brazen gladioli twirler and seducer.” LS

Ellis May

Also known as Sophia Maj, Ellis May reminds me of two of my all-time favourite women’s voices: Portishead’s Beth Gibbons, and PJ Harvey, particularly circa Is This Desire? May has a background in sound design for films, and also produces her eerie, pulsing music, which evokes creepy moors at dusk.” LS

School of X

Rasmus Littauer drums for MØ by day, but as School of X, he’s making gorgeous processed pop. Imagine if the Pet Shop Boys had made Behaviour on a Balearic island retreat.” LS

To join us please RSVP to Superball@mxd.dk. First come, first served, and please note that there is limited space.

For questions please mail Carolina@mxd.dk.
