Call for Applications: NOMEX Trade Mission to Los Angeles 

DATES: March 24–27

NOMEX invites music companies to apply for a targeted trade mission to Los Angeles, a global epicenter of film, TV, advertising, gaming, and the wider entertainment industry. The goal of the mission is to strengthen participants’ network, knowledge, and commercial opportunities within music placement and to build connections in the U.S. sync market.

Los Angeles is a true meta-center for creative production — home to major film studios, TV networks, streaming platforms, advertising agencies, game developers, and a highly specialized ecosystem of music supervisors and composers. It is one of the world’s most influential hubs for music supervision, scoring, sync licensing, and audiovisual production.

What does the program include?

From March 24–27, the delegation will take part in a curated program designed to provide direct access to key players and their kowledge in the sync and scoring industries:

  • One pre-selected day at MUSEXPO
    Including panels, B2B meetings, and industry insights.
  • Dedicated NOMEX-arranged meetings with music supervisors and other industry professionals connected to sync and scoring.
  • Networking events with invited local industry representatives.
  • Introductions, conversations, and case-focused sessions tailored to the group.
  • Travel support from your local music export office

Participants may choose to attend the full MUSEXPO conference at their own expense beyond what is included in the delegation program.

Who can apply?

We are seeking music companies that:

  • Manage music rights and work actively, strategically and professionally with international sync
    (TV, film, advertising, gaming, streaming, etc.)
  • Have clear ambitions to expand their international network and strengthen their placement opportunities in the U.S. market.
  • Have a sufficiently broad catalog to meet diverse sync needs.
    Companies with larger catalogs will be prioritized.

Please fill this form with all the required information by  January 16th, 23:59. Applications received after this won’t be taken into account. Please also note, only one application per company is accepted.
The danish participants are selected by the board of MXD.

As a confirmed participant of the trade mission you are eligible for MXD’s travel support to Business Professionals.
